Job Responsibility:
Just Like Family Home Care is always looking for great caregivers to join our team. Our caregivers come from all over the world with a variety of backgrounds, and they all share the common goal of providing quality care to our clients.
All of us at Just Like Family, a proud Canadian owned and operated company, we care about all seniors and caregivers just like they are a part of our own family.
We are currently hiring experienced caregivers in the North Vancouver area.
The shifts would involve a combination of personal care and companionship.
We have shifts available for an immediate start for the right applicant.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship includes conversation, medical appointment, shopping/ grocery and client activities
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- To provide physical, emotional, spiritual comfort and safety to the clients
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly manner
- Personal care (assistance with bathing, dressing/grooming or using the bathroom)
- No previous experience necessary - Training provided with 24/7 support
Job Requirements:
- Passionate about providing care for seniors
- Must be compassionate, honest, reliable, confident and highly sociable.
- Must feel confident in your ability to engage the Client in activities and conversation.
- Good communication of English and be able to converse with ease on a wide variety of topics.
- Criminal Record Check.
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada.
- Professional references including telephone numbers.
- Driving with valid driver's license preferred but not required (Paid mileage if used for client 's needs)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
