Nanny Wanted - No Longer Hiring Nanny/Housekeeper Needed, $20 25/Hr+ Inner City Nw Calgary Near Sait Children Are 3 & 5 Years Old.

Are you a responsible and reliable individual who is experienced with small children and are open to a variety of household tasks? We have an almost 3 yr old boy and recently turned 5 yr old girl who are both in daycare full time, and we both work demanding full time jobs. We’ve come to realize that we need help in order to eat healthy, sleep enough; and have clean clothes and a clean house …. All while showing up as best we can for each other and our kids. In order to maintain our sanity and balance we are looking for someone to help Monday to Friday for approximately 4 hours/day. We are flexible on start and end time, but require someone no later than 7am until at least 9am. We are seeking someone that can do the following type of work:

• Prepare breakfast and lunches for kids, and occasionally parents
• wake and dress children (if requested)
• tidy toys/dishes/mess from previous day
• supervise/feed/play with kids while parents eat/get ready etc
• occasionally walk or drive children to daycare if necessary (7 min walk)
• when family leaves for daycare and work, clean dishes from breakfast/do other household chores such as laundry and meal prep dinner
• notes: we have a cleaner weekly, so we are not looking for someone to do that job, but the kitchen and laundry are unfortunately not once a week jobs

For clarity, at least one parent will usually be home during the time the children are there, and this role is not a typical nanny role where the parents are absent and you are expected to be the primary caregiver. However this is subject to change. We are flexible on hours and times, but approximately 20 hours a week to start and we’re open to decreasing or increasing if necessary. We are willing to guarantee a minimum amount of hours if requested. In addition, there is opportunity for additional, optional hours for occasional babysitting needs evenings and weekends, as well as unexpected "sick day" coverage. We live in inner city NW Calgary in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood, near SAIT, U of C, and public transit. Preference would be given to candidates with their own car and valid license. This is a live-out only, part-time position offering approximately $20-25 hourly depending on experience, plus up to 3 weeks Paid vacation (pro rated) and Stat Holiday pay in accordance Canadian Employment Law. Chosen candidate will be required to legally work in Canada and have a valid SIN number as CRA deductions (EI / CPP) will be submitted by 3rd party payroll service.
