Business Optimization Lead

  OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Business Optimization Coordinator to join a major financial institution. This position supports business leads across a range of initiatives tied to service delivery, onboarding, AI enablement, and documentation processes. The successful candidates will coordinate project activity, engage stakeholders, and help ensure initiatives run smoothly, without requiring deep technical delivery or large-scale stakeholder management experience. Pay Rates:

$50-$65 / hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support business leads across one or more of four initiative pillars: service optimization, onboarding, AI enablement, and documentation/agreements


• Coordinate meetings, workshops, and cross-functional touchpoints to keep initiatives on track


• Engage the right internal stakeholders and ask the right questions to move projects forward


• Prepare high-level project summaries (objectives, benefits, status) to support business leads in executive-facing conversations


• Track project activity and help identify and flag risks or roadblocks


• Assist with coordination of smaller initiatives that may not require a dedicated project manager


• Collaborate closely with the PMO team as needed on initiatives requiring formal project management support

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, business optimization, or a related delivery-support role


• Strong organizational skills and comfort coordinating across multiple stakeholders and functions


• Clear communicator, comfortable summarizing project status for leadership audiences


• Banking or financial services background is a plus but not required


• Familiarity with tools such as Visio, Confluence, Jira, or Power BI is beneficial but not required


• PMP, Prosci, or similar certifications are an asset but not a requirement


• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with occasional in-office attendance for workshops and team sessions
