Fixed Plant Reliability Engineer Position

Become a key player at Eskay Creek as a Fixed Plant Reliability Engineer. This role focuses on developing maintenance strategies in a challenging, remote environment. Reporting to the Mill Manager, you will spearhead initiatives that significantly improve mill availability and reliability. Your skills in mechanical engineering and leadership will drive the continuous improvement of asset management processes, making a lasting impact on the operation’s success. Collaborating with diverse teams will be crucial in this engaging role. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability studies prior to commissioning
- Identify acquisition needs for critical spare parts
- Manage the fixed plant asset management agenda
- Conduct structured RCA for equipment failures
- Lead improvement initiatives for performance and safety
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Qualification as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia
- Experience in reliability and maintenance practices
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic work conditions
