Facilities Engineer: Building Systems Management

Elevate building safety and functionality as a Facilities Engineer with the Credit Union. Manage HVAC, electrical systems, and fire safety with expertise and precision. You will take charge of vital facility systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your essential duties involve preventive maintenance, staff training, and vendor management, plus adherence to guidelines for building codes and safety regulations. Collaborating closely with Facilities Operations and Office Management, you will help create a secure environment for all credit union users. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the maintenance of HVAC and electrical systems
- Establish contracts with external vendors for services
- Conduct facility inspections and maintain compliance
- Support groundskeeping and custodial operations
- Execute preventive maintenance and repairs efficiently
- Minimum 7 years of experience in facilities maintenance
- Licensing in HVAC and electrical systems essential
- Solid understanding of building equipment and codes
- Capable of using mechanical tools and systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
