Allied Universal is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor in Timmins, ON.

Security Shift Supervisor – Industrial Site

Location: P4N 7K1, Timmins, ON
Pay Rate: $27.00 - 28.17 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Type: Full-Time | Days

Position Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at a confidential industrial site located in the Timmins area.

This position is ideal for an experienced security professional who is confident leading a team, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. Due to the nature of the site and the potential for emergency situations, Advanced First Aid or First Responder First Aid certification is highly preferred and considered a major asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the security team and ensure all site requirements are consistently met.

• Complete and monitor daily post orders, including access control, security patrols, site inspections, and emergency response as required.

• Respond appropriately to emergencies and security incidents, using advanced first aid skills when required.

• Provide direction, coaching, and training to new security officers and team members requiring additional support.

• Monitor employee performance and address operational or performance concerns in a professional manner.

• Coordinate coverage for sick calls and unexpected staffing shortages to maintain required site coverage.

• Ensure security officers are following site procedures, post orders, and company standards.

• Maintain clear communication with Allied Universal management regarding staffing, performance, incidents, and operational concerns.

• Act as a professional liaison between the client and Allied Universal.

• Complete required reports, documentation, and other administrative duties accurately and on time.

• Promote a professional, safety-focused, and customer-service-oriented security environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence .

• Previous security supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred.

• Advanced First Aid or First Responder First Aid certification is highly preferred and considered a major asset.

• Strong emergency response and decision-making skills.

• Experience with access control, patrols, incident response, and general security operations.

• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to train, coach, and provide direction to security officers.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage staffing and operational priorities.

• Professional approach when dealing with employees, management, and client representatives.

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a site-based environment.

• Reliable transportation to the site on Hwy 655 North is an asset.
