In this Junior Business Analyst role, you will serve as a critical bridge between internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring seamless financial administration and project execution.

This contract position offers a standard 40-hour work week with a competitive schedule. Operating in a Hybrid work model, you will work 3 days on-site per week at our Calgary location (450 1st Street SW) and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely for the remaining 2 days. This initial contract covers a total of 2,072 hours (approximately 1 year). Responsibilities
-Coordinate daily with internal stakeholders and vendors to manage contract rates and resolve complex invoice issues.
-Create service requisitions and maintain purchase orders (POs), including updates, revisions, and closeouts.
-Review, validate, and process vendor invoices to ensure strict accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
-Prepare and post accurate month-end accrual entries using SAP.
-Complete SAP Service Entry Sheets (SES) for all non-construction activities.
-Attest survey field tickets and non-construction invoices in eCommerce/VIM, including:
- Verifying site or Project Manager approvals.
- Confirming services and materials fall strictly within the approved scope of work.
- Checking quantities, rates, and data entry for precision.
-Actively follow up on missing approvals, documentation, and revisions to support timely invoice processing.
-Support the resolution of invoice discrepancies, escalations, and payment issues with vendors and internal teams.
-Work directly with vendors to address billing questions and support compliance with process and system requirements.

Qualifications
Must Haves
-Education: University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or related field).
-Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience or familiarity with SAP (specifically Service Entry Sheets and month-end accruals) and eCommerce/VIM systems.
-Vendor Management: Proven ability to process invoices, manage Purchase Orders (POs), and reconcile financial discrepancies.
-Location: Ability to work on-site at the Calgary office (450 1st Street SW) for the required 3 days per week.

Nice to Haves
-1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in project support, vendor invoice processing, or financial coordination.
-Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset when dealing with external vendors and cross-functional teams.
-Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple competing deadlines.
