Freelance Videographer & Photographer
We're looking for a creative, agile, and sharp-eyed Freelance Videographer & Photographer based in the GTA to shoot high-impact visual assets directly on-site at our clients' locations - nail salons, spas, and restaurants across Ontario.
About Wizy
Wizy Marketing Agency is Ontario's premier Hybrid Marketing Partner dedicated to helping local SMEs - especially beauty salons, spas, and restaurants - dominate their local digital footprint. By combining local strategic depth with advanced AI-powered systems, we deliver premium-quality marketing at a fraction of the cost of traditional agencies. We need a sharp visual storyteller on the ground in the GTA to bring our clients' worlds to life.
Key Responsibilities
1 On-site Visual Production - Travel to client locations (Nail salons, Spas, Restaurants, etc.) across the GTA to execute professional photo and video shoots.
2 Short-Form Video Excellence - Shoot engaging, cinematic, and high-converting raw video assets tailored for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts (UGC-style, trending hooks, transitions, product close-ups, ambient vibes).
3 Commercial Photography - Capture high-quality lifestyle, product, team, and interior photos for premium social media grids, website design, and Local SEO.
4 Creative Collaboration - Work closely with Wizy's Ontario-based team to understand project briefs, shot lists, and brand identity guidelines for each client.
5 Asset Management - Organize and upload raw footage and high-res imagery to our shared cloud system promptly after each shoot for seamless handoff to our editing team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for on-site travel (Vaughan, Mississauga, Toronto, Markham, Brampton).
- Must own professional camera gear (DSLR, Mirrorless, or top-tier mobile like iPhone 15 Pro/16 Pro with gimbals/stabilizers and external audio/lighting).
- Proven portfolio in lifestyle, food/F&B, commercial interior, or beauty/salon videography and photography.
- Deep understanding of visual storytelling and social media aesthetics - knowing what stops the scroll in the first 3 seconds.
- Strong English communication skills. Vietnamese proficiency is a massive asset for direct client interaction.
- Punctual, proactive, organized, and capable of making clients feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Position Details
1 Employment Type - Casual, Part-Time, Project-Based (Freelance contract)
2 Compensation - Competitive pay per project/shoot or hourly (negotiable based on experience and gear)
3 Schedule - Flexible scheduling based on client availability, primarily weekdays or select weekends
4 Coverage Area - On-site shoots within Toronto & the GTA
Why Join Wizy?
- See your visual content actively driving real leads, bookings, and revenue for real local businesses across Ontario.
- Work with a fast-growing tech-hybrid agency where your raw production is amplified by cutting-edge AI and cross-border teams.
- Outstanding creators will be prioritized for recurring monthly retainers as Wizy scales its Ontario client base.
