The WPES Specialist provides advanced knowledge as a strategic partner and subject matter expert within the Human Resources Department in the design, delivery, and implementation of human resource services and strategies to improve operations, achieve goals, and resolve issues. The Specialist provides solutions for workforce planning and employment strategies issues including collective agreement interpretation, union negotiation, recruitment and retention strategies, organizational change, layoff, hiring, human rights, provincial labor law related to employment applications, in-scope and out-of-scope job evaluation and classification, salary administration, market supplements, immigration, diversity and inclusion, representative workforce, organizational design, workforce optimization and health human resource planning. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Experience with documentation and permit process for international recruitment
- 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources
- Experience with international recruitment and/or newcomer settlement processes
Education
- Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Human Resources diploma
- Business Administration diploma (DBA)
