Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a contract opportunity providing nursing oversight, client assessments, caregiver supervision, and clinical guidance. This role requires availability for client visits, documentation, and caregiver support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client assessments and follow-up visits.
- Develop, review, and update individualized care plans.
- Supervise and evaluate caregivers within the scope of their assigned duties.
- Provide caregiver orientation, training, and competency evaluations.
- Maintain accurate assessments, visit notes, and clinical records.
- Communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and agency leadership.
- Address changes in client needs and concerns about care.
- Assist with clinical policies, quality improvement, and applicable New Jersey requirements.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Experience in home care, community health, or nursing supervision preferred.
- Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and support a growing agency.
- Reliable transportation for local client visits.
