Job Summary:

We are looking for a User Support Analyst to join our team. The candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Correspond with computer users electronically and/or in person to identify, assess, and document technical issues and difficulties;

• Review user guides, technical manuals, documentation, and other resources to assess, identify and apply suitable solutions;

• Identify, replicate, and rectify technical issues reported by users;

• Provide users with technical guidance, assistance, and training based on identified issues and support needs.

• Deliver technical support, guidance, and user training to address identified problems and support needs;

• Assist users with business systems, network, and Internet-related issues by diagnosing and resolving identified technical difficulties;

• Create, consolidate, systemize, and maintain records of technical issues and their corresponding solutions for reference by other technical support analysts;

• Facilitate user access to computer networks;

• Monitor, analyze, and report on system and network performance;

• Prepare and configure computer equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and related components;

• May oversee the work of other technical support personnel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Completion of post-secondary courses in computer programming, network administration, computer systems, or IT Infrastructure

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems

• Knowledge in SQL server and scripting

• Some experience with Help Desk (software and/or hardware)

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
