Manufacturing Engineer Specialized in Design

Drive design innovation and safety as a Manufacturing Engineer at Johnson Controls. Lead initiatives ensuring equipment designs are manufacture-ready and cost-efficient.
In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with multiple teams to merge design intentions with manufacturability. You will address safety and manufacturing readiness by analyzing assembly processes while incorporating DFM principles into your designs. Your expertise will contribute to significant improvements in cycle time and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead DFM reviews for improved manufacturability
• Identify design challenges and propose solutions
• Engage in safety-focused design practices
• Optimize design processes through continuous feedback
• Mentor junior engineers on effective design execution
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Over 7 years of relevant industry experience
• Proficient in PTC Creo and Windchill PLM
• Strong communication and technical skills
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing environments
