What is the Opportunity?

The Application Governance Administrator will be is responsible for the day-to-day User Provisioning operation of all applications currently operating at Aecon. The incumbent would be working as part of the SAP Application Governance team providing all applications provisioning related support. This is a contract opportunity until December 2027. 

What You'll Do Here:

• Responsible for User Provisioning and technical support of Aecon Applications.
• Responsible for the proper daily onboarding, offboarding and Job transitioning related ticket handlings in many applications including SAP, SuccessFactors, FormStack, Ariba, CDM, Diligent, Fiori, Gateway, and many other Enterprise Applications used within Aecon and Joint Venture Partners.
• Support Application Administration team with any identity creations for all projects that the team is working on.
• Collaborate to guide the evolution and development of enterprise applications, data integrations, and best practices.
• Creation and maintenance of all technical documentation.
• Coordinate with various internal teams when tasks need to be delegated (ex: CRQ creation, assist with Test ID creation for projects…etc).
• Monitoring and securing the Non-Production and Production Environments for Audit & Security violations
• Conducting Troubleshooting to find out security problems during all phases of the business processes.
• Maintain documentation regarding creation of new Roles, permissions and User Provisioining steps related to the projects involved.
• Participate in the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices and metrics as directed.
• Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical designs and standards.
• Resolve all incidents and tasks.
• Solving authorization issues related to users.
• Support IT Management, Business Analysts, Application Developers, Architecture Team, and Infrastructure Teams with technical consultation and support.
• Escalate critical issues to management in a timely manner.
• Support the information systems and operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards and legal requirements.
• Ensures the integrity of IT assets. 

What You Bring to the Team:

• University Degree in Computer Science or related feild. 
• User management related experience in any ERP applications, including SAP ECC.
• Experience with standard integration platforms and REST APIs.
• Experience with administering Linux systems, including shell scripting, is a plus.
• Experience with automated system configuration is a plus.
• Experience with object-oriented programming is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially the ability to effectively interpret and translate business needs and report on system trends or issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to develop effective trust relationships with technical team, data stewards, and business users.
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills and the ability to perform tasks accurately with attention to detail including the ability to prioritize tasks/assignments and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivation and self-direction, the ability to work independently or in a team environment, and willingness to take direction.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem solving and communication skills.

The expected salary range for this role is $68,000-$85,000 per year

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may includecertifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
