Junior Engineering Technologist

Job Responsibility: SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Mammoet is looking for task-oriented and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in the Edmonton region. Our engineers and technologists are critical to this and have the opportunity to apply their experience and skills to a wide variety of different industries, locations and projects WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Responsibilities will vary depending on the department but may include:

• Using your expertise to develop best-in-class engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects
• Working with both conventional methodologies and developing new approaches
• Developing drawings using AutoCad along with in-house software tools
• Developing calculations, visualizations, manuals, risk assessments and other key documents
• Ensuring efficient execution that delivers the right results for the customer

WHAT YOU'LL NEED Education & Experience

• Experience in engineering operation practices and systems, Heavy lift and transport equipment, industry-relevant codes and standards
• English, fluent proficiency verbal and written
• Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience
• A diploma in Engineering Technology
• Eligible for registration with ASET as Technologist-in-training

Mammoet provides solutions to any heavy lifting or transport challenge About our region This will be a permanent position operating out of Edmonton office and local sites working Monday to Friday with possible rotational shift requirements.
