The Role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Azure Cloud Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expert-level proficiency in Azure, helping customers define and execute their cloud adoption strategies, technology strategies, and roadmap target operating models. This role involves providing FinOps and DevSecOps consulting, acting as a trusted advisor, and participating in both pre-sales and consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Strategy and Roadmap:

• Collaborate with customers to develop comprehensive Azure cloud adoption strategies and technology roadmaps.
• Define target operating models that align with business objectives and technological requirements.

Azure Technology Consulting:

• Provide expert guidance on Azure cloud technologies, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
• Advise on best practices for Azure cloud architecture, design, and deployment.

FinOps Consulting:

• Offer insights and strategies for effective cloud financial management, helping customers optimize their Azure cloud spending.
• Implement FinOps best practices to monitor, manage, and forecast cloud costs.

DevSecOps Consulting:

• Advise customers on integrating security practices into the DevOps process to ensure secure and compliant cloud operations.
• Provide recommendations for tools, processes, and methodologies that enhance security and efficiency.

Customer Relationship:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business challenges and technical needs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and recommendations that drive customer success.

Pre-sales Support:

• Assist the sales team in pre-sales activities, including defining the scope of work (SOW), preparing proposals, and conducting solution demonstrations.
• Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions that meet their requirements.

Consulting Engagement Delivery:

• Lead and deliver consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.
Provide post-implementation support to ensure the continued success of delivered solutions.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also take the lead in coordinating the entire pre-sales process, ensuring quality and compliance verification while adhering to Kyndryl best practices. Your collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will generate winning responses and create optimal technical solutions. Who You Are

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in cloud consulting with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

• Proven track record in defining cloud adoption strategies and technology roadmaps.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Certifications:

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert required.

• FinOps certification is a strong advantage.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Azure services and best practices.

• Strong understanding of FinOps and cloud cost management principles.

• Expertise in DevSecOps methodologies and tools.

• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate).

• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.

• Background in IT service management or consulting.
