Finance Support Analyst

Job Responsibility:
Tourmaline Oil Corp. is a Canadian senior crude oil and natural gas exploration and production company. We are focused on long-term growth through an aggressive exploration, development, production, and acquisition program in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.
We are currently looking for an 18-20 month contract position for full time in our Calgary office. This role will report to the Manager, Finance Systems and Data.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: ?
Main point of contact to assist with questions and support on our accounting and finance systems (key systems are Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OpenInvoice/OpenTicket/Pricebooks) ?
Responsible for change requests to systems and users' security ? Maintaining the Delegation of Authority master list ? Quarterly D365 release management (understanding new functionality, testing, training, etc.) ? Identify process improvement opportunities using operational accounting and/or systems
knowledge to develop and implement solutions ? Business Lead for Accounting and Finance System implementations ? Subject Matter Expert for other systems in the Company that impact Accounting and Finance ? Other duties, as required
Qualifications & Skills ?
Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree is required ? 8+ years of oil and gas operational accounting experience is required ? Experience with accounting systems and reporting tools is required ? Microsoft D365, OpenInvoice & OpenTicket experience is an asset ? Strong Business Intelligence acumen is an asset (PowerBI) ? Positive attitude and a willingness to learn ? Team-oriented mentality and a willingness to pitch in ? Able to work independently in high-volume and fast-paced environments ? Strong attention to detail, highly organized and an appreciation for tight deadlines ? Must be comfortable working with various people throughout the organization as this role
requires significant face-to-face interaction ? Must be adaptable and comfortable with a continuously changing and growing environment
