Housekeeper required for Seniors Living Facility.

Green Acres Foundation is seeking a dynamic multi-tasker with a strong customer service focus and superior cleaning skills to work in the position of Resident Services (Housekeeping) in Picture Butte AB.

The ideal candidate should be safety and hygiene driven and have above average cleaning skills. We are also looking for a team-oriented person who has a flexible willing and positive attitude.

Does this sound like you If it is you will perform duties that require considerable confidentiality initiative tact and independent judgement. We are a self-motivated bunch who finds coming to work fun so strong interpersonal and organizational skills are a MUST.

Basic Responsibilities of the Position Include:

• Clean common areas and resident rooms by completing such tasks as vacuuming dusting sanitizing sweeping mopping emptying garbage containers and cleaning surfaces.
• Complete specialized seasonal and deep cleaning duties.
• Using floor scrubbing and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Laundry duties.
• Facility lock up and ongoing facility checks as required for the shift.
• Other duties as required.

What will be required for the position:

• A current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months).
• The ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English.
• First Aid Certification WHMIS Training and Food Safe Certification is an asset.
