Expert Project Director for Heavy Industries

Drive project excellence as an Expert Project Director at WSP, overseeing mining and industrial projects across Canada. Lead teams and ensure successful outcomes for client-focused initiatives in Ontario. WSP invites you to apply for the position of Project Director, where you'll leverage over 20 years of progressive experience in mining and heavy industries. Your leadership will involve guiding Project Managers and project engineers to deliver complex, multi-phase projects. Responsibilities include developing risk management strategies and managing budgets and schedules for optimal project performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex mining project execution nationwide
- Develop Project Management Plans focusing on governance
- Ensure budget and schedule compliance for projects
- Guide and mentor project teams for technical success
- Build and nurture client relationships to identify innovations
- 20+ years of project management experience in mining
- Proven ability in managing EPCM projects
- Engineering degree or diploma, PMP certification a plus
- Strong skill in stakeholder engagement and risk management
- Proficient in MS Office and project management tools
