Sales Development Representative

We're Optix — enabling flex and coworking space operators build smarter, more automated spaces and better-connected communities. Our platform powers the digital backbone of coworking and flex spaces worldwide, uniting automation, CRM, and community engagement tools into one seamless experience.

We're building a sales team and we need someone hungry. This SDR role comes with a defined 6 to 12 month path to Account Executive — and we mean it. If you hit your targets, show up with the right attitude, and grow fast, you'll be running your own book of business with us as early as January.

This is not the right role if you're looking for another year of SDR work with no clear next step. It is the right role if you've got something to prove, you're wired to outwork the room, and you're ready to bet on yourself.

This is a hybrid opportunity for someone based in Vancouver, BC (three days in-office, two days from home).

Requirements

Who you are

You have at least one year of experience in a quota-carrying or outbound-facing role — whether that's SDR, BDR, inside sales, or a competitive environment where you had to generate and close your own opportunities. B2B SaaS experience is a bonus, but what matters more is that you've consistently hit or exceeded your targets and you're hungry for more responsibility, not more of the same.

You're the kind of person who:

• Handles rejection as feedback, not a reason to slow down
• Communicates clearly and confidently with strangers, whether over email, phone, or LinkedIn
• Has a track record of outperforming your peers — not just showing up

What you'll do

• Prospect outbound across email, LinkedIn, and calls to generate pipeline and book qualified meetings for our Account Executives
• Run sharp discovery conversations that surface genuine pain and create momentum
• Clearly communicate the value of Optix and how it maps to what operators actually need
• Keep your sequences, follow-ups, and CRM (HubSpot) current and clean
• Partner with AEs to refine messaging, sharpen handoffs, and close the loop on what's working
• Bring front-line market intelligence back to Sales and Marketing
