Overview
Millenilink is partnering with a leading consulting organization to deliver complex SAP Treasury transformations for two large energy/infrastructure clients in Canada. We are looking for two senior SAP Treasury consultants who are comfortable owning design, build, and client conversations end‑to‑end.
Duration: ~12 months, solid potential to extend. Location: Canada‑based, remote with periodic on‑site client travel (billable).
Role Focus
SAP Treasury – Cash & Liquidity: This role focuses on cash and liquidity management for a large energy operator undergoing a greenfield/modernization journey in SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Own design, build, and client conversations end‑to‑end for SAP Treasury projects.
- Lead or co‑lead workshops with finance/treasury stakeholders.
- Act as an advisor, challenging requirements and guiding implementation, not just a configurator.
- Translate business requirements into SAP design, including process flows, configurations, and testing scenarios.
- Communicate effectively and be willing to appear on camera for client sessions.
Must‑Have Skills
- Experience with SAP Cash & Liquidity Management, including cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, liquidity hierarchy/cash concentration views, bank account management and related configuration, and cash and liquidity dashboards/reporting.
- At least two end‑to‑end SAP Treasury implementation projects, with at least one as a core contributor.
- Strong understanding of treasury operations: month‑end close, working capital, bank interactions, hedging concepts, audit/fraud controls.
- Ability to translate business requirements into SAP design, process flows, configuration, and testing scenarios.
Nice‑to‑Have
- Exposure to Bank Communication Management (BCM), payment integration, SWIFT, and bank connectivity models.
- Experience with liquidity planning tools and advanced forecasting approaches.
- Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or government/healthcare treasury environments.
- Background working with organizations transitioning from Excel to SAP‑based automation.
Other Requirements
- Comfortable being proactive, challenging requirements, and acting as an advisor with strong communication skills.
