Who We Are: Mishmish is a busy Middle Eastern bakery and café on Fraser Street. We’re hiring a full-time cook to prepare ingredients and work the line during café service. We make our food in-house and are looking for someone who enjoys organized prep, consistent cooking, and working closely with a supportive team.
Pay: $18.25/hour starting wage, plus approximately $4–$5/hour in pooled tips.
Hours: Approximately 40 hours/week, eight-hour shifts.
Required Availability: Monday to Friday (or one weekend day)
Typical shifts: Open - 7 am - 3 pm / Mid - 9 am - 5 pm / Close - 10 am - 6 pm
Other: 30-minute paid break, free staff meal, staff discounts
What You'll Do: You’ll prep menu ingredients, set up and maintain your station, prepare orders during service, and keep the kitchen clean and organized. We’re looking for at least one year of experience in a busy restaurant or café, good communication, and the ability to work efficiently while following recipes and training guides.
