Job Responsibility:
About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Records Management Intern to support our Records & Information Governance team. This role offers hands-on experience in modern records management practices, information governance, and compliance within a professional environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in organizing, classifying, and maintaining both physical and digital records.
- Support the implementation of records retention and disposition schedules.
- Help with cataloging, indexing, and metadata tagging for easy retrieval.
- Participate in projects related to digitization, electronic records, and document workflows.
- Assist in responding to internal and external information requests (e.g., FOI requests).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Conduct data quality checks and maintain audit trails for record activities.
Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Library Science, Records Management, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Interest in Information Governance, Compliance, and Digital Transformation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
