Since 2003, our firm has built a strong reputation for delivering practical, results-driven legal services across Immigration, Real Estate, Family, Litigation, Business Law, Wills & Estates, and related practice areas.
We are seeking an experienced Immigration Lawyer to join our team in Mississauga.
This position is ideal for a lawyer who is comfortable handling both immigration processing matters and litigation-related immigration work, including appeals and judicial reviews.
Responsibilities- Manage a broad range of immigration files from intake to conclusion
- Prepare and submit applications for:
- Permanent Residence
- Work Permits
- Study Permits
- Spousal Sponsorships
- Citizenship Applications
- Humanitarian & Compassionate Applications
- Refugee Claims
- Represent clients before:
- Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB)
- Refugee Protection Division (RPD)
- Refugee Appeal Division (RAD)
- Immigration Appeal Division (IAD)
- Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) proceedings
- Conduct Federal Court Judicial Reviews and related litigation matters
- Prepare legal submissions, affidavits, memoranda, and appeal records
- Attend hearings, mediations, and conferences
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients on complex immigration matters
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client service
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Minimum 3 years of immigration law experience preferred
- Experience with Federal Court Judicial Reviews and immigration appeals
- Strong advocacy, research, and legal writing skills
- Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload
- Excellent client communication and relationship management abilities
- Experience appearing before IRB tribunals is highly preferred
- Fluency in a second language is considered an asset
