Position Description
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time. 

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium and related tools.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with teams to support resolution and validation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test automation standards and practices.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
• Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to improve product quality.
• Contribute to both manual and exploratory testing efforts when needed.
• Continuously learn and apply new tools, technologies, and best practices in test automation.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering (QE) or related roles, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with API and messaging queue (MQ) testing.
• Experience with scripting languages and automation technologies such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, along with frameworks like Cucumber and BDD for developing and maintaining automated test suites.
• Working knowledge of Kafka, SQL, and database testing practices.
• Familiarity with UI automation tools and concepts, including Selenium, Cypress, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of banking domain processes, including transaction workflows and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy"
