TalentWorld is recruiting a Customer Service Representative — Inside Sales in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Transcona Area) for one of our partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries via phone and email, delivering prompt, professional support
• Troubleshoot complaints and provide effective solutions or alternatives
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue
• Act as an inside sales representative by recommending relevant upgrades and new products based on customer needs
• Accurately enter and update customer records, transactions, and sales activity in internal systems
• Process customer orders efficiently and ensure timely fulfillment
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette, active listening, and clear communication at all times
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and smooth handoffs
• Support sales goals by converting service interactions into revenue opportunities
• Stay current on product offerings and promotions to provide accurate, relevant recommendations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 2–4 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a similar client-facing role
• Proven track record in upselling, cross-selling, or meeting sales targets within a service environment
• Strong proficiency in CRM and ERP systems; familiarity with Sage or similar software is highly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable navigating internal order-processing platforms
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zendesk or Salesforce Service Cloud, EDI platforms, or shipping software is considered an asset.
• Must be available to work Monday to Friday, onsite from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
• Must be able to provide two professional references.
• Must be available to start immediately; immediate availability is considered a strong asset.
• Reliable personal transportation is considered a strong asset.
• A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
