Doughnut Love is looking to add an experienced and detail oriented Pastry Chef/Baker to join our team!
We're seeking to add a new baker/pastry chef with a passion for pastry, consistency and quality who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast paced production environment. The candidate will be working side by side with our Executive Pastry Chef creating all our doughs, batters, fillings and glazes. Everything is made from scratch and with a monthly changing menu - we are always creating something new and exciting.
Minimum 2 years of professional pastry experience.
Recent graduates from a recognized culinary/pastry instiution will be considered.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistency and excellency
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
Reliable, organized and able to work well independently and as part of a team
Passion for pastry and a high standard of quality
Responsibilites:
Scaling and mixing all doughs, batters, filings and glazes
Preparing and producing a variety of products, cutting dough and frying/decorating
Maintaining consistency in quality, portioning and presentation
Ensuring proper food safety, sanitation and organization
Assisting with other pastry chef dutues and daily production needs
