Nestled in the heart of Austin Heights, Coffee + Vanilla is one of Coquitlam's favourite independent cafe. Here is what we need from you: Qualifications: Education: no degree, certificate or diploma Experience: will train Desirable qualifications: Punctual and reliable team player Passion for working with people Or at least show up on the shift in a decent mood Baker Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Follow specific recipes to create different types of baked goods. - Mix, knead, and shape dough to create various types of scones, cookies, and other baked products. - Operate ovens to bake products at the correct temperatures and times. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards - Keep workstations clean and organized - Weekly managing of baking ingredients and food supplies Other things: - Experience as a Baker is an asset but not required - Available to start work at 6-7 am. Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment - Will be needing to lift 20kg( 44 lb.) bags of flour, sugar etc. - Salary: Starting at $17.75 per hour Job Type: Part-time, minimum of 20 hours per week. Language: At least intermediate English is required.
