Senior React Native Mobile Engineer (Remote)

About your new role

As a Senior React Native Mobile Engineer , you will:

• Take lead and ownership of our mobile applications, while contributing in a senior capacity on projects.

• Drive the modernization of our existing mobile app, bringing key features from the web platform to mobile and optimizing the overall experience.

• Work hands-on to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable mobile experiences.

• Collaborate closely with our product team, designers, and other engineers to shape product features.

• Support teammates by sharing knowledge, best practices, and architectural guidance.

• Embrace AI-augmented workflows to accelerate development, enabling focus on high-level architecture and complex mobile logic.

• Build and maintain prompt libraries and custom AI instructions to keep mobile architecture consistent and accessible.

• Apply senior-level judgment to balance rapid prototyping with long-term maintainability and scalability.

Skills & Requirements

• You have 5+ years of mobile development experience with a track record of delivering successful projects end-to-end.

• You have deep expertise in React Native and modern mobile tooling.

• You can architect stable and scalable mobile systems , including component structure, application state management, and navigation.

• You understand modern mobile engineering practices , such as performance optimization, offline capabilities, and native module integration.

• You communicate clearly in English , both in writing and verbally, and you collaborate effectively with product teams and engineers to shape and refine product features.

• You have experience working remotely and are based in the EU, with legal authorization to work .

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with NoSQL datastores such as ElasticSearch, Redis, or MongoDB.

• Familiarity with Expo and TypeScript.

• Experience with our web stack: React and TanStack Query, enabling you to bridge features between web and mobile.

• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, such as prompt engineering or code generation tools.

• Familiarity with Node.js , as our backend stack runs on it.
