Service and Parts Advisor

Job Responsibility:

Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers in identifying and purchasing the right recreational parts for their needs. Your expertise in atv,snowmobile and motorcycle repair and parts management will be essential in providing excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting and ordering recreational parts, ensuring they receive the correct components for their toys.
• Maintain an organized inventory of parts, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that items are easily accessible.
• Utilize POS systems to process transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product recommendations.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, and inventory levels using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) as required.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries regarding parts availability and pricing.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail sales environment or dealership setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
• Familiarity with recreational repair processes and terminology is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using POS systems and other relevant software applications.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage inventory effectively.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers while maintaining positive relationships.
• Strong phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries professionally.
• A passion for the recreational industry and a desire to learn more about parts and services.

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
