Director of Policy Coordination Edmonton

Lead policy initiatives in health care with a full-time position as Director of Policy Coordination and Engagement in Edmonton. Drive strategic engagement and oversight while enhancing health outcomes for Albertans.
As the Director at the Department of Primary and Preventative Health Services, you will provide critical leadership in policy coordination. Your role involves managing multi-ministry policy initiatives, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and synthesizing legislative and operational information to deliver strategic recommendations. Flexibility in managing multiple priorities while ensuring ministry-wide alignment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor a multidisciplinary team in policy and engagement
• Oversee coordination of policy and strategic priorities
• Provide strategic oversight for consultation and engagement activities
• Establish engagement standards and best practices
• Represent the ministry in senior-level discussions
Requirements:
• University degree in Public Administration or related field
• Minimum 7 years of relevant leadership experience
• Strong project management skills
• Expertise in policy development and public engagement
• Background in public communications
Lead strategic policy engagement to enhance Alberta's health services and outcomes.
