About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Demand Generation to lead and scale B2B demand generation for Wealthsimple Business. This role is responsible for driving high-quality leads across our core Business segments, improving conversion across the lead funnel, and partnering closely with Growth, Sales, Product Marketing, and Commercial Operations to turn demand into pipeline and revenue.

You’ll bring structure and strategic clarity to an early-stage B2B function at Wealthsimple that has a foundation in place but needs a clear owner to take it to the next level. You’ll manage one direct report, operate with a high degree of autonomy, and be held accountable to lead and pipeline outcomes.

What you'll do

• Own the strategy and execution of Business demand generation across paid media, organic, lifecycle, referrals, and more — with a clear focus on lead quality and downstream pipeline impact.

• Lead ABM programs targeting high-value segments. Work with Sales to define target accounts, build segment-specific programs, and measure pipeline impact.

• Partner closely with Sales and Commercial Ops to align on ICPs, lead definitions, scoring models, routing, and feedback loops. Participate in pipeline reviews and use what you learn to sharpen targeting and improve lead quality.

• Build and maintain clear reporting on funnel performance — from first touch through MQL, SQL, and closed deals. Identify patterns, surface insights, and make clear recommendations for where to accelerate, test, or change course.

• Actively embed AI tools into demand gen workflows — from content and copy production to audience research, outbound enrichment, and campaign experimentation.

• Manage and develop one direct report, setting clear goals and creating the conditions for strong performance.

What you bring

• A proven track record of driving high-quality B2B leads across multiple channels — paid media, lifecycle, outbound, and more — with specific experience scaling programs across multiple SMB and mid-market sub-segments. You've worked in environments with both self-serve and sales-assisted motions and know how to build demand gen programs that serve both.

• Deep hands-on experience in paid media — you've owned budgets, managed campaigns across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, and know how to optimize for lead quality, not just volume."

• ABM experience — you've designed and run account-based programs, worked with Sales to define and prioritize target accounts, and measured pipeline impact.

• Strong cross-functional partnering experience — you've worked closely with Sales (pipeline reviews, lead definitions, feedback loops) and Product Marketing (messaging, campaign briefs) and made both relationships a competitive advantage.

• A demonstrated habit of using AI to accelerate your work — whether that's building lead enrichment workflows, generating and testing creative at scale, or surfacing insights from data faster. You treat AI as a core part of how you work.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to diagnose funnel problems, prioritize opportunities, and make clear recommendations for change — not just report on results.

• Experience in B2B fintech, business banking, spend management, or neobanking.

• Experience managing people, with a track record of setting clear goals and developing direct reports.
