Investment Solutions Development Director

Join Assumption Life as an Investment Solutions Development Director responsible for driving sales across Alberta and British Columbia. This role is pivotal in nurturing distributor relations and enhancing financial product offerings. The ideal candidate will have five to seven years of experience in the financial services sector, with specialized knowledge in investment products. You will develop a comprehensive sales strategy and maintain robust relationships with MGAs and advisors, helping them grow their business through effective product usage. Your strong communication and problem-solving skills will be essential to your success. Key Responsibilities:
- Exceed sales goals through strategic meetings and presentations
- Develop long-term sales strategies tailored to the business line
- Foster relationships with MGAs and financial advisors
- Educate existing advisors on product offerings and benefits
- Discover and establish new business opportunities
- University or college diploma in administration or related discipline
- 5-7 years’ experience in financial services and insurance
- Strong negotiation and sales skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with social media networks a plus
