3PL Inc. is currently recruiting a Production Lead Hand for a well-established food manufacturing operation in Hagersville, Ontario .

This is a hands-on leadership role . You'll work alongside the team while helping coordinate daily priorities, support employees, maintain production flow, and ensure quality, food safety, and workplace standards are consistently met.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Production Lead Hand, you'll be actively involved in the operation while helping keep the team organized, informed, and on track.

• Provide hands-on leadership, guidance, and support to employees
• Help coordinate daily workflow, assignments, and operational priorities
• Work alongside the team to meet production requirements
• Communicate expectations and priorities throughout the shift
• Monitor workflow and help keep daily requirements on schedule
• Support the movement, staging, and organization of products and materials
• Identify day-to-day operational issues and help find practical solutions
• Communicate staffing, inventory, quality, equipment, or safety concerns to management
• Use computer systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to support daily operations
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
• Verify products, quantities, labels, and other information for accuracy
• Support inventory activities and identify potential discrepancies
• Assist with training and orientation of new employees
• Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, and other departments
• Ensure GMP, food safety, quality, and Health & Safety requirements are consistently followed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Lead by example and step in wherever the team needs support

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong leadership potential with hands-on manufacturing experience .

You should bring:

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing, production, or fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong leadership skills and the confidence to provide direction and support to others
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Good computer proficiency
• Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• A commitment to food safety, quality, and workplace safety
• The ability to prioritize and adapt in a busy environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
