Job Title: Production Trainer

Location: Brampton, Canada

Postion type: Full-time, exempt status

Under general direction of the site management while working in line with various departments, the Production Trainer you will be responsible for leading the training programs for manufacturing which includes onboarding, training, and on-the job training. This also includes EHS training.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Develop and deliver training programs for manufacturing employees on topics such as safety, quality, and production processes.
• Create training materials, including presentations, manuals, and videos.
• Conduct training sessions in both classroom and hands-on settings
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure training aligns with company goals and standards.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in training and manufacturing processes.
• Provide coaching and support to employees to reinforce training concepts and improve performance.
• Maintain training records and documentation aligned with HR department.
• Will assist in keeping safety action item logs, safety training and general Safety EtQ administration.
• Must have flexibility to conduct training sessions during any of the three operating shifts.
• Active safety committee team member and provides recommendations for safety process improvements related to training.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, training, or engineering preferred but not required.
• Minimum two to three years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a training or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
