Special Business Support Specialist

Remote customer service work with SAP and Salesforce awaits as a Special Business Support Specialist supporting customized Life Science orders.
At MilliporeSigma, this specialist serves as the primary contact for Special Business Customers. The work covers order entry, order management, date management, specification review, and shipment monitoring. You will identify supply chain barriers, resolve inquiries, and support customer satisfaction from batch allocation through shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customized orders for Serum, Bulk, and Custom materials
- Communicate requirements through accurate entry and date management
- Monitor orders from entry through shipment for on-time delivery
- Confirm packaging configurations and customer specifications using change control data
- Investigate inquiries and identify root causes and corrective actions
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two or more years of customer service experience
- One or more years using SAP systems and Salesforce
- Ability to create Excel spreadsheets, formulas, and charts
- Strong organizational, analytical, and professional communication skills
