Graphics Driver Developer at QNX
QNX Software Systems
Join QNX, a BlackBerry Limited division, as a Systems Software Developer II focusing on graphics driver development for GPUs. This role emphasizes embedded systems, C/C++, 2D, and 3D graphics. As part of the Product Engineering unit at QNX, you will develop graphics drivers and maintain subsystems key to safety-critical applications. You will create software specifications, unit test implementations, and integrate QNX Hypervisor onto hardware platforms. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential as you collaborate with global stakeholders in this technical role. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain 2D/3D graphics drivers for GPUs
- Specify and document software designs for customer needs
- Unit test and debug across ARM and X86 architectures
- Analyze and resolve complex software problems
- Integrate QNX Hypervisor with embedded systems
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
- Significant experience in C, C++, and assembly language
- Proven skills in embedded systems and graphics
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
