Civil & Utility Engineer# Career Opportunities## Civil & Utility EngineerApply: CA.ON.Toronto.191 The West Mall: Full time: Posted Today: R-156349### **Job Description**## **Overview** Join AtkinsRéalis as a Civil & Utility Engineer and contribute to the delivery of the OnCorr (On-Corridor Works) program, one of Canada’s largest transit rail infrastructure projects. As part of the Municipal Infrastructure team within the Civil Engineering, Design and Project Management Division, you will work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment supporting major transit rail and civil infrastructure projects. In this role, you will lead the planning, design, and coordination of complex utility systems while helping deliver innovative engineering solutions that shape communities across Ontario. ## **Your role** * Lead the design and development of municipal utility systems, including watermain, sanitary, stormwater, and associated infrastructure.* Oversee the preparation and review of engineering drawings, plans, profiles, specifications, and reports.* Manage utility coordination activities, including stakeholder engagement, clash detection, and conflict resolution.* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients, municipalities, and utility agencies to support approvals and design integration.* Manage design package delivery while ensuring QA/QC, regulatory compliance, and adherence to project budgets and schedules. ## **About you** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution and Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility in Ontario.* 8+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure and utility design.* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; experience with BIM tools is considered an asset.* Strong understanding of Ontario municipal standards, guidelines, and approval processes; experience working on Transit Rail projects is an asset.* Valid Driver’s License is required. ## **Rewards & benefits** Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.Enjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.Make the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.And take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.Be rewarded.
