Transport truck driversFull Time## Job Description### **Overview**#### **Languages**English#### **Education*** Secondary (high) school graduation certificate#### **Experience**Experience an asset#### **On site**Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.### **Responsibilities**#### **Tasks*** Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions* Mountain driving expertise* Professionalism in customer service* Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations* Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy* Load and unload goods* Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment* Pay and receive payments for goods* Perform emergency roadside repairs* Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle* Perform preventive maintenance* Receive and relay information to central dispatch* Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption* Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo### **Credentials**#### **Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses*** AZ class license* Air Brakes Endorsement### **Experience and specialization**#### **Documentation knowledge*** Accident or incident reports* Bill of lading* Dangerous goods occurrence reports* Driver logbook* Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)* Maintenance and repair reports* Trip reports### **Additional information**#### **Security and safety*** Valid passport* Driver's validity licence check* Driving record check (abstract)#### **Work conditions and physical capabilities*** Sitting**Salary** 37.00 hourly / 32 to 40 hours per week**How to apply****By email**View email address on apply.j-vers.com## Education RequirementSecondary (high) school graduation certificate## Experience RequirementExperience an asset
