Commercial Insurance Coverage Strategy Manager

Lead Commercial Insurance coverage design and policy wording governance at Definity in a flexible hybrid work experience. Guide products, forms, and underwriting enablement.
As Manager, Coverage Strategy & Forms, Corporate Underwriting, you will oversee product implementation and coverage development across Commercial Insurance portfolios. Your expertise will support clear offerings, underwriting strategy, customer needs, and business objectives. You will work across Corporate Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Technology, Actuarial, and Regional Underwriting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Commercial Insurance product, form, endorsement, and manuscript development
- Govern coverage wording, approvals, and product changes
- Implement enhancements improving underwriting effectiveness and operational efficiency
- Support modernization, integration, and future-state product capabilities
- Develop training and communications for underwriting adoption
Requirements:
- University degree or college diploma in a related field
- Commercial Insurance product and coverage design expertise
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and change management
- Understanding of underwriting operations and policy wording development
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
