On a daily basis you will have to:
Act as a civil/structural technical lead for various mandates in the energy, mining, manufacturing and construction sectors.
Participate in regular meetings with the client.
Participate in the definition of projects and develop concepts in collaboration with the client and other disciplines.
Act as a liaison between the client and the work team.
Design steel and concrete structures, mainly in heavy industry.
Supervise the production of drawings, and sign and seal them.
Produce calculation notes, technical documents, and drawings.
Conduct technical studies.
Participate in defining projects and developing concepts in collaboration with the client and other disciplines.
Participate in design reviews.
Model structures with SAFI.
Prepare project cost estimates.Coordinate projects with other disciplines.
Ensure the feasibility/constructability of projects.
Provide technical support for the completion of work on the field.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Civil Engineering
Be a member of the provincial professional association or eligible for membership
Minimum 5 years of experience in structures (preferably in the industrial field).

Practical approach with a focus on constructability in the technical solutions proposed.
