Summary

Vancouver’s MOVE 103.5 is looking for an energetic, witty, and unapologetically unique co-host to join Drew Savage, along with Erin Davis, and Producer Alexa as the vital final piece of our morning lineup. We are looking for the perfect partner to help entertain loyal listeners and fans of this top-rated show in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

You are hardworking, an excellent communicator, and a natural storyteller who is, above all else, real and relatable. You have a quick wit, a playful sense of humor, and that spark of unpredictability that keeps listeners on their toes. You naturally bring a vibrant, fresh perspective to the mic.

You love to laugh and have fun - but aren’t afraid to get vulnerable to really connect with the audience. Most importantly, you are a true team player who leaves your ego at the door. You are excited to collaborate, share the spotlight, and build an incredible new morning show dynamic from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate to deliver a creative, compelling, locally-focused ensemble radio show Monday to Friday 5:30am – 10am.
• Actively participate in daily post-show prep meetings, bringing fresh ideas, original angles and perspectives to the table.
• Eagerly get out into the community with guest appearances and sales appearances.
• Work seamlessly with the Promotions team to execute fun, larger-than-life contests and promotions.
• Be a superstar on social media, delivering engaging, trend-forward content daily.
• Voice commercial production, record station promos, and deliver authentic, revenue-generating live endorsements as required.
• Op the board as required.

Critical Qualifications

• Minimum four years of on-air experience; morning show or co-hosting/ensemble experience preferred.
• Highly social media savvy and plugged into current digital trends.
• Strong ability to navigate technology (knowledge of VoxPro, Adobe Audition, and WideOrbit is an asset).
• A deep passion for radio and building genuine, daily connections with listeners.

Preferred Qualifications

• An inquisitive personality who is plugged into pop culture, lifestyle trends, and what people are talking about right now.
• A quick thinker who can look at the ordinary and make it sound extraordinary (and hilarious).
• A strong desire to win, grow, and bring a dynamic new flavor to an established, successful team.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
