Years Experience:

• 5+ Years as a Business Systems Analyst in Financial Services or a Regulated Environment

Top 3 Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in SAP US Payroll (BSI Tax Factory), including configuration, data structures, and withholding calculations.

• Experience with payroll tax compliance, regulatory requirements, and multi-system integration.

• Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder management, and technical documentation.

Top 3 Skills Preferred:

• NY State Employment Tax Compliance experience.

• Experience with Concur Travel & Expense, EY tools, or third-party tax/compliance platforms.

• Experience with regulatory compliance, audit remediation, and compensation integration workflows.

Educational Qualifications:

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed interviews with Payroll, Global Mobility, Concur, EY, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements.

• Document current-state processes and identify gaps related to NYS wage withholding, trailing compensation, relocation tracking, and remote work location capture.

• Create detailed requirements specifications for system integrations and process automation.

• Validate requirements across multiple stakeholder groups for alignment and completeness.

• Analyze SAP US Payroll module configuration for NYS tax withholding calculations.

• Identify configuration gaps and recommend enhancements to support automated withholding.

• Understand wage types, vesting periods, and tax sourcing logic within SAP.

• Collaborate with the Solution Architect on SAP update process automation design.

• Validate compensation data mapping and transformation rules.

• Define requirements for Concur to SAP data integration.

• Define requirements for Tech Infrastructure to EY Mobility Platform Business Travel tool integration.

• Document compensation data flow between RBC Payroll, SFTP, EY Tool, and SAP.

• Specify badge swipe location data integration points and validation logic.

• Identify data quality requirements and reconciliation procedures across multiple systems.

• Define SLAs and turnaround times for data processing, including year-end processing.

• Understand NY State employment tax requirements and audit findings.

• Translate regulatory requirements into system and process requirements.

• Work with Payroll teams to clarify workday definitions, trailing compensation sourcing, non-resident wage allocation, and relocation tax impacts.

• Ensure all requirements documentation is audit-defensible.

• Define requirements for capturing actual NYS workdays and remote work locations.

• Assess alternative location data sources including transit, IP tracking, and mobile location data.

• Document employee validation and reconciliation workflows.

• Define detailed compensation data requirements for EY platform integration.

• Specify SFTP transmission schedules, validation rules, and reconciliation processes.

• Identify data governance, security, and compliance requirements.

• Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders including Payroll and Global Mobility.

• Facilitate requirements workshops and validation sessions.

• Escalate blockers and ambiguities to the Senior Project Manager and Solution Architect.

• Provide regular status updates on requirements, feasibility, and project progress.
