Senior Legal Counsel for Projects - Stantec

Stantec Consulting International Ltd.

Join Stantec as a Senior Legal Counsel focused on major projects. Lead the legal strategy to facilitate alternative project delivery while ensuring compliance and managing risks. In this critical role, you will be the strategic legal partner for complex projects in North America. Required are significant legal skills, particularly in alternative delivery models such as Public-Private Partnerships and Design-Build. You will guide project teams in navigating commercial risks and legal challenges throughout the lifecycle of projects. Key Responsibilities: • Negotiate and draft legal documentation for projects • Assess commercial risks and recommend mitigations • Support project teams during proposal and contract formation • Advise on claims, disputes, and conflict resolution • Strengthen relationships through effective risk management methodologies Requirements: • At least 10 years in legal practice • Membership in a provincial/state bar • Exceptional communication and drafting abilities • Strong business acumen and collaborative spirit • Familiarity with construction and design technicalities Utilize your legal expertise to drive Stantec's project success and strategic goals. #J-18808-Ljbffr
