Material Handler - Tire Receiving Line

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Material Handler - Tire Receiving Line to join their team. As a Material Handler - Tire Receiving Line, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Receiving Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler - Tire Receiving Line
Location: Bridgewater, NS
Pay Range: $19.05 plus shift premiums
Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM / 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
What's the Job?
- Inspect and prepare pallets for tires to ensure quality and readiness for distribution
- Verify tires and labels using a computer system to maintain accuracy
- Lift and place tires onto pallets efficiently and safely
- Apply identification labels and confirm proper placement on tires
- Sort non-conforming tires and maintain high housekeeping standards in the work area
What's Needed?
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Comfortable working with computer systems for verification and labeling
- Attention to detail and accuracy in task completion
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and adapt to changing schedules
- Successful completion of a criminal background check (CRC) as required
