Manager Cloud Data Engineering

PwC

Lead cloud data engineering at PwC in Toronto, applying architecture and modern pipeline expertise to enterprise analytics solutions. Collaborate with clients and technical teams.

As a Manager, Data Engineering, you will design, architect, and deliver modern data platforms across Azure, GCP, and AWS. Your work spans Apache Airflow, Spark, Databricks, SQL, and Python while supporting cloud migration, lakehouse implementation, and analytics initiatives. You will also coach engineers and architects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead scalable, secure, and resilient cloud data platform delivery
Translate requirements into end-to-end cloud solution architectures
Oversee batch and real-time data pipelines
Define standards for quality, monitoring, testing, and automation
Coach engineers and architects through reviews and feedback

Requirements:

Significant hands-on data engineering and cloud platform experience
Experience leading technical teams or workstreams
Strong Azure, GCP, or AWS architecture experience
Hands-on Apache Airflow, Spark, or Databricks experience
Proficiency in SQL, Python, DevOps, and data architecture

Bring cloud architecture, pipeline delivery, and technical leadership to PwC’s Toronto data engineering practice and client solutions.
