Food Service Supervisor

Currently recruiting for full-time, permanent Food Service Supervisor position. Candidate must be flexible with availability and have previous supervisory experience. Seeking a candidate who is looking for long-term employment to grow with our leadership team.

Basic Job :
-  Take guests orders on POS register
-  Accept payment (cash, debit, credit)
-  Handle guest requests
-  Supervising, monitoring, and training team members and giving direction
-  Prepare, heat, and finish food/beverage items
-  Use manual appliances to slice food items
-  Package take-out food
-  Stock refrigerators and sandwich bars
-  Keep records of the quantities of food used/prepped
-  Cross training between storefront, drive-thru, sandwich bar, and baking

Kitchen Helping:
Wash and cut vegetables, clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, storage racks, equipment, receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers and other storage areas, remove kitchen garbage, handle cleaning products, sweep and mop floors

Dishwashing:
Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, scour pots and pans, clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher carts and garbage units

Weight Handling:
Up to 50 lbs

Essential Skills:
Reading text and numbers, dealing with Canadian currency, writing, verbal communication, teamwork, problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing, use of memory

Languages:
Must speak/read/write English
