The Role
We are seeking a Regional Controller to oversee financial operations across the USA and Canada markets. As a key member of the Accounting and Finance team , you will be responsible for maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance with tax and audit requirements, managing payroll finances, and overseeing general expenses in alignment with the company's budget. Reporting directly to the Regional CFO , you will play a critical role in driving financial efficiency and supporting strategic business decisions.

What You'll Do
- Oversee Accounting & Finance Operations : Manage full-cycle accounting, payroll finances, and payables for the USA and Canadian markets.
- Ensure Financial Accuracy & Compliance : Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, oversee audits, and ensure timely tax filings.
- Monitor Budgets & Variances : Track and analyze business costs, proactively identifying and addressing variances.
- Manage Banking, Tax & Audit Relations : Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Develop Best Practices & Compliance Measures : Create and implement financial policies for purchasing, expense management, and reporting.
- Lead & Mentor the Finance Team : Guide, train, and support accounting and payables teams while ensuring efficient workload management.
- Drive Process Improvements & Strategic Initiatives : Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial processes and support business growth.
Who You Are
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 15+ years of experience in U.S. and Canadian accounting.
- An expert in IFRS and knowledgeable in professional services accounting .
- Bilingual in U.S. and Canadian (Quebec) accounting standards ; French proficiency required .
- Strong expertise in U.S. federal, state, and Canadian provincial tax regulations .
- Advanced proficiency in Excel & ERP systems .
- A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills .
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
