House of Friendship
Take a leadership role in addiction services with House of Friendship. We are seeking a Manager for our Addiction Community Support Services to guide teams and foster impactful community change in a full-time, contract position. In this Manager position, you'll oversee a vital addiction program that consists of Concurrent Supportive Housing, Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Clinics, and Community Withdrawal Support Services. Your leadership skills will be pivotal in mentoring staff, managing budgets, and ensuring safe operational practices to enhance the services provided. You will also play a critical role in community relations and program evaluations that drive improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Support and lead Supervisors, volunteers, and students
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations
- Ensure a psychologically healthy work environment
- Oversee program operation and resource allocation
- Facilitate collaboration with community partnerships
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related fields
- Three years of leadership in addiction services
- Familiarity with health and recovery needs
- Professional registration as a Social Worker or Psychotherapist
- Commitment to anti-oppressive practices
