Title: Regional Health Director Liaison
Salary: $91,172 - $107,261 - $123,351 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Perm
Hours: 37.5 hours (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: West Kelowna or Kamloops, BC, located on the unceded ancestral territories of the Syilx or Secwépemc Nations – Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy.
About The Role
The Health Director Liaison supports Health Directors and First Nations communities throughout the Interior Region by providing guidance, consultation, training, and ongoing operational support. Working closely with community leadership, health system partners, and FNHA teams, this role helps advance community-led health priorities and strengthen service delivery. As a key point of contact, the Health Director Liaison facilitates information sharing, problem solving, and collaboration across partners. The role also supports leadership development, capacity building, and the exchange of promising practices to improve community health outcomes.
About You
To be successful in the role, you are a relationship-focused professional with experience working with First Nations communities, organizations, and leadership. You have strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust and foster productive partnerships. You are comfortable providing training, consultation, and guidance, and can effectively balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You bring sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to supporting community-driven health initiatives. Most importantly, you have a genuine respect for First Nations cultures, values, and ways of knowing, and are passionate about contributing to improved health and wellness outcomes.
Education And Experience
- University Degree with specialization in Health Sciences, Education, or Social Services or a in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Recent, relevant and significant experience in community engagement activities and processes (usually acquired over a period of 4-6 years)
- Experience working with First Nations communities or organizations including political leadership
- A valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
