Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

we are  seeking a customer-focused and organized Service Desk Representative for our client in the building supply industry.

This role is responsible for assisting customers with sales, estimates, order processing, and product inquiries while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with product selection, purchases, and general inquiries

• Prepare and process quotes, estimates, and sales orders accurately

• Process invoices and complete daily sales transactions

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer requests

• Ensure customers receive correct products, pricing, and information

• Maintain knowledge of products, pricing, and promotions

• Coordinate with other departments regarding orders, stock, and deliveries

• Support merchandising, restocking, and maintaining a clean service desk area

• Assist with inventory checks and year-end counts

• Follow company policies, credit limits, and pricing guidelines

• Maintain accurate records, paperwork, and POS system data entry

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Positive, professional, and customer-first attitude

• Experience with POS systems is an asset
